How long does the battery last?
The average battery life is approximately 10 hours, which may vary depending on usage, firmware, and tracking configuration.
How long does it take for drift to occur?
The time for drift to occur depends on the sensor used: LSM6DSR: about 30 to 40 minutes of continuous use ICM-45686: can take up to 60 minutes To resolve this, the EDGE team configures a quick-correction shortcut. Realignment takes about 3 seconds.
Can I use the Fullbody under the covers?
Yes. Since the system does not use base stations, tracking is not lost even with the trackers covered.
Can I leave the room or change rooms while playing?
Yes, as long as you remain within the range of your Wi-Fi network. As long as there is a stable connection, tracking will continue to function normally.
Can I charge the trackers with fast chargers (PD / QC)?
Yes. Even on fast chargers, the trackers only charge at 5V, with no risk of overcharging or damage. It is possible to use PD/QC chargers and high-quality USB hubs.
Can a fast charger burn out the tracker?
No, under normal conditions. The trackers have an internal charge control circuit that regulates voltage and current.
How can I increase battery lifespan?
The trackers can be charged normally up to 100% without any risk. For those who wish to maximize battery lifespan over time, we recommend: Whenever possible, keep the charge between 20% and 80% (usually about 40 minutes of charging) Avoid leaving the device idle for long periods fully charged or completely discharged For long-term storage, keep the battery between 40% and 60% Avoid excessive heat during charging These practices are optional, but they help reduce the natural wear and tear of the battery. The charging circuit is designed to charge quickly up to about 80% and intentionally reduce speed in the last 20%, protecting the battery and increasing its durability.
Does the tracker consume battery when turned off?
There is a very low residual consumption. In practice, the battery loses charge due to natural aging long before it is drained by this consumption.
